The Redwood Campus preschool classes will present their plays on Friday May 31, 2013. Three plays will be performed at the Redwood Campus beginning at 5:30pm and at 7:00pm there will be a potluck. Everyone is welcome!
The Rainbow Room presents Tico and the Golden Wings at 5:30pm

Tico, a little bird born without wings, is one day granted his dearest wish. But the wings he gets are made of gold and his bird friends turn against him. “You think you are better than we are,” they say. The Mandala Room presents Milo and the Magical Stones at 6:00pm
Milo, a mouse who lives on a small mountain island, finds a glowing rock that provides both light and warmth on a cold winter night.
The Redwood Room presents The Empty Pot at 6:30pm

When the Chinese emperor proclaims that his successor will be the child who grows the most beautiful flowers from the seeds the emperor distributes, Ping is overjoyed. Like the emperor, he loves flowers and anything he plants bursts into bloom. But the emperor’s seed will not grow, despite months of loving care, and Ping goes before the emperor carrying only his empty pot.

Dr. Suess’ iconic story addresses the plight of the environment and the Lorax, who speaks for the trees against the greedy Once-ler.
