“As you think, so you are.
As you dream, so you become.
As you create your wishes, so they create you.”
By seeing things in terms of causes and their results, we will come to appreciate how the world in which we live is a network of inter-connected elements.
All of our actions will affect our environment, other living beings, and ourselves. We can look to the natural world and reflect on the nourishment that this interconnected web of life brings to all its components – including ourselves.
Life Lab In Our Summer Program:
Small hands in a big garden! Let your kids get their hands dirty while learning our science-based curriculum in a green schoolyard. In this activating outdoor classroom we will be providing instruction in science, eco-literacy and nutrition. This program is designed to sow the seeds of wonder in your child and get them excited about plants, ecology and the Earth through hands-on projects and activities.

All campers will have the opportunity to be a part of our Life Lab program throughout the summer on a weekly basis. The more the child attends the more they will learn.
Some of the great values of your child coming to Tara Redwood summer camp are that he/she will have the opportunity to learn the skills of mindfulness, interconnection, being a good friend, and life skills.
During all that we do in our daily summer camp activities, mindful intention and interconnection practices will be weaved in throughout the day; while hiking, gardening, learning, playing and creating we will work together to design the kind of camp environment that we all want to return to again and again.
