We are excited to bring back this all family fun event located on the hills of the Nisene Forest in Soquel.
Hike4Peace is Tara Redwood School's annual HIKE-A-THON fundraiser and Arts & Crafts Fair .

10% of raffle tickets funding go to support a charity of their choice,
this is an annual part of Tara Redwood School's education in compassion in action.
This year we will be donating to:
Children of War Foundation. https://www.cowf.org/ for information.
The remainder of the fundraising supports Tara Redwood School's programs and classroom development.

COLLECT ALL 7 COLORS!
Part of the Hike4Peace fun is collecting each of the 7 CCC colors symbolic of the qualities of the CCC attributes.
Make a rainbow peace bracelet after hiking and collecting each color at every one of the 8 verses trails.
Students and alumni will collect a colored string at each verse around the loop.
The hike-a-thon trail is 1 mile long and it is situated along the "8 Verses trail"
based on the 8 Verses in Tibetan Buddhist teaching on how to transform challenges into happiness and peace.
TIME & LOCATION
- LOCATION-Land of Medicine Buddha
- TIME OF EVENT - 10–2pm
- PARKING is available at the Land of Medicine Buddha
- 10AM- HIKER PLEDGES IN PERSON begin at 10:00 am and will continue until PRIZES from the raffle tickets will be drawn at 2PM at end of event.
There will be an Information pop-up booth with pledge forms and raffle tickets for the arts & crafts activities and the opportunity to pledge a hiker.
